Smart Relationships
Today in class we learnt about formal language and informal language. Formal language is how you would talk to your parents, teachers or elderly and informal is how you would talk to your friends. We also learnt about the importance of knowing what to say online when its a tough situation or how to handle being online when someone is talking about you. When also discussed about the do's and dont's, the stuff you would do and the stuff you wouldn't do online Eg: Don't post inappropriate photos of yourself & Do - Encourage others etc.

About Me
Kia ora my name is Aaliyah Wiki and I am the eldest of 4. My parents are Amelia Janelle Wiki and Rhyan Buddy Pou. I am full Maori and I come from a family that is well known around the area of Kawakawa. I was brought up in Papakura but originally from Kawakawa. My family has been through alot but is striving to look on the brighter sides of things. We are currently living in Waikare and I am currently attending Bay College as you may find that pretty obvious. I have been overseas for quite a while as I was staying with my grandparents Hardy Mclean and Mouna Mclean. Over Australia I played rugby league for a good 6 years and is currently looking forward to playing here in New Zealand sometime soon.
I am a person who likes to learn but if I don’t like what I am doing then I won’t do it unless there are consequences involved. While learning If I get distracted by others around me than I can easily go off track. I am good at contact sports like rugby league and enjoys playing rugby league because it's basically the only sports I have played for as long as 6 years. I don’t have goals just yet because I haven’t set goals for me to accomplish but later in life I am willing to set goals to make me a better person.
This year I am looking forward to set a good reputation for the school and myself although I am currently going off track. I am also looking forward to making new friends along the way who will push me to do good things and not bad things.Someone who inspires me will have to be my mother because throughout life she has been my number one supporter and have supported me in every way possible even through the bad and the good.
